I wanted a smart thermostat to save on heating bills, but I couldn’t rewire the boiler.
I wanted to hang smart lights, but I couldn’t drill holes.
So, I spent months researching the “loophole tech”—the gadgets, laws, and installation hacks that allow renters to upgrade their homes without drilling a single hole or stripping paint.
